Leadership class needs input

View stolen property

The Manhattan Beach police department will hold a public viewing of items recovered from a theft ring operating from Santa Barbara to Long Beach. Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Manhattan Heights Annex, 1600 Manhattan Beach Blvd. More than a thousand items will be displayed in the hopes of returning the property to its rightful owners. Victims of the theft ring are requested to bring a copy of their police report to the viewing. For more information, call 310-802-5000, ext. 5119.

Kindergarten registration

The Manhattan Beach Unified School District is holding Kindergarten/Pre-elementary Program registration March 20-24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all of the Manhattan Beach elementary schools. Come to your local school site with: Birth Certificate; Current Immunization Record and Mantoux TB Test; and verification of residence in Manhattan Beach, including two utility bills and completion of the school form Affidavit of Residency. Pennekamp registration will be held at the Transition School, 1431 15th Street.

Business Expo March 16

The Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2000 Business Expo on Thursday, March 16 at the Manhattan Village Shopping Center. Local businesses will showcase their products and services at exhibits throughout the mall from 5-7 p.m. The event is free to the public. For more information, call 310-545-5313.ER
