Nobel Peace Prizer winner and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger will address subscribers to the Distinguished Speaker Series at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on Monday, April 17. Local elected officials have been invited to meet Kissinger by Hawthorne Savings, which is hosting a reception for Kissinger at its Rosecrans Ave. office prior to his talk. Kissinger received the Nobel Prize in 1973 for his efforts to end the Vietnamese War. The reception is by invitation only and tickets to Kissinger are sold out.
