House Democratic Leader Richard Gephardt met last week with Manhattan Beach resident Bob Abernethy at Abernethy’s new high tech business center, the Redondo Information Technology Center in Redondo Beach. The meeting came at a time when President George W. Bush is under criticism for ignoring the computer industry. Abernethy is a longtime contributor to Democratic causes.
